Amazing Tips To Grow Your Affiliate Blog
Today I’m going to share with you some simple 5 methods to drive more traffic to your blog and get more subscribers to your list.
Implement these simple amazing tips to create a nice-sized list.
Convert your content into ebooks or free courses
Most people struggle with traffic generation and this is one the easiest methods you can use that will get you tons of visitors to your site.
If you don’t want to create a new free report to give away you can combine your content from your blog and make it into a free ebook.
Some people use this method to sell as a course. Most people won’t read all of your blog posts, but if you make it easy for them they will be interested in it.
So once you combine your content into a ebook you want to head over to https://www.pdfonline.com/convert-pdf/ so you can convert your ebook into a PDF file to give away.
Once you have your pdf you want to give it away for free on sites like http://www.free-ebooks.net/ and http://www.myebook.com/
These are just a few of the free ebook sites, but they’re the most popular.
Make sure to always put a link to your squeeze page in the book so they subscribe to your list and you can keep marketing to them.
I just wanted to mention this because I’ve seen people make this mistake.
If you want to take this one step further, offer your free reports and ebooks on warrior forum to get more subscribers.
If you write a good ebook you can get 100′s of subscribers from just this method alone.
Most people only sell their ebooks, but if you give away the reports for free in order to subscribe to your list you now have 100′s of people to promote your next paid product to.
This is a great list-building technique and I suggest you do this often.

AD Swaps
I’m not sure why, but people with blogs usually fail to build a list. I’ve seen popular bloggers who don’t even have a opt in form.
Why they would do this blows my mind.
When you have a blog you want to build a list because it allows you to guide your list of subscribers wherever you want them to be.
Most people focus on RSS feeds and this works, but it doesn’t work like a email list.
If Google decides to deindex your website or your rankings tank it doesn’t matter. If you already have a list you can guide them to whatever page you want them to view, a new product offer you create or even an affiliate offer.
Once you create an email list if you treat them right you will have a loyal audience who will follow you wherever you go.
Once you build a list of around 500 people you can start doing ad swaps to build your list quickly.
Whats an ad swap?
An ad swap is when two list owners agree to send each other’s free offers to their lists.
How this works is each person sends their list to the other person’s squeeze page where they offer a free offer(ebook) in order to get the person to subscribe to their list.
You can find ad swap partners by going to:
Warrior Forum Join Ventures
Safe Swaps
AdSwap Finder
List Swapper
Note: If you’re going do ad swaps make sure you’re dealing with people who treat their lists well. Sign up to the person list first and see how they interact with their subscribers.
Creating a loyal audience
This is very powerful method.
Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are huge and everyone is pushing social media marketing, but they don’t really teach you how to interact with people.
If you want to build a loyal audience you need to be interacting with your audience.
You should be answering all their questions, responding to their tweets and Facebook comments, and replying to their comments on your blog.
Once you engage your audience and give them great content that will help them, they will be your referral army.
I learned this when doing offline marketing. You want people to market you, not the other way around. It’s much more powerful to have people rave about you, then to rave about yourself.
Once your audience likes and trust you they will tweet and like your posts, share your content on social bookmarking sites, and post on their Facebook wall.
This is how your blog and email list can blow up.
Once you have people pushing your content on their social sites so their friends can see your list will start growing rather quickly.
Focus on great content and interacting with your readers.
Make them feel like you’re their friend and you’re there to help them with their problems.
This is how you create raving fans and people who will follow your every move.
Bring the Value
This may sound obvious, but most people don’t do it.
Create tons of phenomenal content that people love.
You should strive to help others and give them what they want.
Create content they want to read and help them with their problems.
If you’re creating top notch content that will help them you will succeed.
If you aim to create amazing content with every post eventually you will get noticed and one day you will wake up and your list will be huge and you have lots of loyal readers.
Most people comment on people’s blogs by spamming them with programs like scrapebox.
Raise your hand if you do this(ME!!!)
Anyways, if you want to get real traffic, and by traffic I mean people who are interested in reading your blog this is the wrong approach.
Most people that manually comment on blogs over using automated programs still do it wrong.
What they do is use a keyword like “make money online” or whatever keyword they want to rank for.
This is bad because if the owner thinks it looks spammy they have the option to delete the comment.
The second reason is you want people to get used to your name or the name of your website so they see you in multiple places and you make them curious and want to know more about you.
So here’s the correct way to do things.
You want to take the attitude of “be everywhere that your audience is”.
So the best places to hangout are peoples blogs in your niche with high quality content and lots of traffic. You can leverage off of their readers.
So the first step is to find the most popular blogs in your niche.
Figure out their schedule for posting and know what days they post fresh content.
You can even setup a Google alert to let you know when they make a blog post.
The goal is to be one of the first comments on the blog post so you get the most eyes on your response.
You should read the blog post completely, and then come up with a really good comment that has good information and shows you’re knowledgable and know what you’re talking about.
If you do this on a regular basis you will get lots of people clicking on your name to check out your website.
Now if you do this on multiple blogs that get tons of traffic you will be able to filter people to your blog and turn them into readers if you provide great content.
You can spend tons of time using SEO to get to the top of the search engines, but if you get the keyword research wrong your traffic won’t be as targeted as this method.
If you combine this with forum marketing it’s very powerful.
Make sure you use the same avatar or picture everywhere you post.
You need to keep things consistent with everything you do. So with Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and forums you should be using the same name and picture.
This is powerful because when people see you all over the place it peaks their interest.
Even though this seems simple it works great.
Be everywhere your audience is
Guest posting on niche related blogs
The hardest part for people making a living online is getting visitors to their website.
Some people create amazing content, but they just don’t know how to get it in front of the right people.
The best way to get highly targeted traffic to your blog is guest posting on other niche related blogs.
You want to find the popular bloggers in your niche and email them or comment on their post requesting to guest post.
Most of the bigger bloggers allow guest posting after they’re established because it becomes hard to create fresh content all the time by themselves.
The reason guest posting is powerful is because you can leverage their audience and lead them back to your blog if you write a good article they find useful.
Some of these people could turn into loyal readers and subscribers.
Some will end up paying customers.
When searching for blogs to guest post on don’t just pick any blog.
For instance I wouldn’t go to Neil Patel and ask to post on his blog because he’s much farther along then myself and it’s not my audience.
My audience is more beginners to intermediate.
So I would go to some of the blogs catering to those people and blogs that are teaching you to get traffic to your blog, learn wordpress, and different methods of making money online.
Create a regular posting schedule.
When you first start it helps to get lots of quality content on your blog.
With all of the Google changes this is the direction I’m moving in, and if you’re smart you will as well.
Some of my older blogs and websites are thin adsense and affiliate sites and they didn’t fair so well with the algorithm changes.
Once I added more content they started rising back to the top of the search engines.
The advantage to lots of content is benefiting from natural organic search engine traffic.
Soon you will start ranking for lots of different long tail keyword combinations and traffic will trickle in.
The more you blog the more traffic you will get.
Once you have a decent amount of posts on your blog you should scale things back a bit and create a regular blog posting schedule.
I usually get at least get 50 posts on my blog then I will post every 2-3 days.
You should focus on providing the best content you can for free.
Create well researched content
Create content that is researched and 100% correct.
The best way to get raving fans and people who want to read your posts is create content they love and help’s them.
Make sure if you’re doing a tutorial or writing a post on something to help them that it is correct.
If you create content and you’re making things up or creating content you know nothing about it will ruin your reputation when people figure it out.
If you don’t know about something make sure if you write about it that you research it and provide the proper instructions on how to do something.
Quality over quantity
You can create 1000′s of articles, but if you don’t have quality articles it won’t matter much.
The easiest way to create articles for your niche is to use keyword research to find what people are searching for and create articles around keywords people are searching for.
You could create less articles and build keyword rich articles and build a few backlinks to your articles to rank high in the search engines and get targeted traffic.
You will have to create a lot less articles if they are highly targeted.
Links on websites related to your niche
It’s common knowledge the best backlinks are from sites related to your niche, but most people don’t follow this method.
I see people on internet marketing forums complaining how SEO doesn’t work, but the problem is people got used to being able to rank the easy way.
It used to be a link from any site would work, but now Google values links from sites that are closely related to your own site.
The best links you can get will be commenting on other peoples blogs related to your own or getting owners of other sites linking to your content.
When you comment on someones blog that’s related to yours and leave great comments people will click on your name to checkout your website.
This is the best traffic you can generate because the visitors are highly targeted and want to see if your website is good.
Teaching people what you know
The information you teach people is everywhere on the net.
It’s probably been rehashed a million times, but what matters is how you deliver and structure your content.
You need to make sure everything is clear and understandable.
You should write your articles so people can understand what you’re talking about. If you’re teaching something technical you need to teach it in a form so everyone will understand.
It’s easy to speak in “Geek Terms” once you know how to do something. You have to think like your visitor and explain everything so they understand how to implement everything themselves.
Anytime I create a tutorial I never look at things from my point of view because i’ve done everything a million times.
I always think back to when I first started and knew nothing. It’s better to assume they’re a complete beginner then assume they know what you’re talking about.
If you’re teaching a more advance audience then tailor your content to that audience.
This may not be the normal build backlinks to your site and wait for the influx of traffic to come because there is much more to it then that.
You can create all the content you want, but when people arrive on your blog you should have quality content that answers their search queries.
By following these simple steps you will receive new visitors and if your content is good people will return to your blog to read your future posts
